I don't know how the sex
I don't know how the sex addict part has to do with anything else, because even though you discount the 'stalker' aspect, it actually sounds like he might be in that mould. If he's a sex addict, that doesn't make him any more or less dangerous to you because being a sex addict doesn't equate to being willing to commit violent acts in order to have sex. After all, if that were the case, rapists would be considered sex addicts. Furthermore, rape and stalking --- these things aren't about sex at all, they're about power. You think he presents something of a threat to you physically?
