Two years sounds pretty good
Two years sounds pretty good to me. One of the difficult things about sex addiction, though, is that it hasn't been very well-studied and it's not formally recognized as an addiction. That means there really aren't many statistics available, and research into the best treatments isn't very extensive. Sex addiction has become a well-known celebrity problem in recent years, though, which is definitely drawing more attention to it.
According to the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health, "Most professionals believe that sex addicts can lead healthy, normal lives with appropriate treatment. However, most also believe that you can never be "cured" of your addiction or compulsion and will need to monitor and maintain certain boundaries around sexual fantasies and behaviors."
