Porn addiction is usually a manifestation of something deeper. It is a distortion of a proper relationship with sexual intercourse. Some porn addicts are acting out from early exposure to porn as kids. Others are disconnected from a proper spousal relationship and turn to porn to escape rather than confront their issues. Anyway you go the sufferer will need counseling and therapy and of course to stay away from those surroundings and imagery that will pull them back into porn.

Cognitive therapy (ie. talking about it) and possibly SSRIs, since part of the problem might be seen as a compulsion, or reaction to anxiety. Talking about porn use is going to be pretty hard for most people, but then that's most of the reason porn is both compelling and dependence-forming - it represents a lot of different bundled-up areas of fear and anxiety for most people that aren't touched on much in other areas of our fairly repressive culture(s). I suspect that's also why the media content tends toward themes of domination and control.
