Have you ever gone through a 12 step program?

I have for alcohol addiction.

I have for alcohol addiction. I continue to go to group AA meetings. I think it is an important part of recovery but other things have to be done to remain in recovery.

Look at me now!

I have been to several

I have been to several different 12 step groups over the past 10 yrs or so. I have managed to stay sober for almost a year now. Surprisingly enough, when I quit going to meetings is when I relapsed. For me personally, keeping my alcoholism fresh & in my face to remind me of the living hell I was in when I was drinking. When I forget how alcohol has effected me & my familys life, I need a meeting to remind me - STAT!
