Hi my name is Nick! i have been on a Vicodin for about 6 or 7 months for a slip disk in my back and other back problems! it works great! i own a restaurant were im on my feet 12 hrs everyday and it really helps me get through! i was first prescribed 4 5mg a day! after about a month i was takin 6 a day! i took my pharmists advice and got my prescription changed do to the tylenol level that might hurt my liver! now im on 10/325 hydrocodene! im prescribed 4 every hour or as needed for pain! I take 3- 10mg hydrocodene a day! am i addicted? can this hurt my body? i will be on them for atleast another 5 months! im worried for my health! my doctor said that it want hurt me its the level of tylenol in it that harms you! is this true? could this amount hurt my heart?

The tylenol will hurt your

The tylenol will hurt your liver more than anything. Livers (like hearts, lungs, etc) don't show symptoms of being sick until they're so far gone your body's gone way past being able to compensate. That's why people smoke for 30 years and then go from no symptoms to oxygen therapy. Don't know about what the opiate will do, but I KNOW the tylenol is giving you liver trouble (just a matter of when). Actually, the opioids will stress your system because your body will increase its output of adrenalin + stress response to counteract the drugs' dampening your heart and breathing rate.
