I havent touched prescription pills in 2 months. Today I had to go to the doctor because I get ovarian cysts and when they get too big they are very painful. Well the one now is bleeding so he gave me vicoprofrin its a mixture of vicoden and ibuprofin, I figured i would be okay because I have not abused themin 2 months and I am in severe pain, well here I am 5 hours later and the limit is 3 a day, I ahve taken 3 in the past 5 hours and I want more. I am trying my hardest to not take more but its like a fucking compulsion, and i dont even realize I keep swallowing them. GRRRRR this is very aggravating and disheartening

I am so sorry to hear about your pain. I originally got hooked on my meds because I had excruciating back pain from a car accident. Even as the pain subsided I kept taking more and more. I always told myself that I would stop tomorrow but I never did. I finally was able to stop through the love and support of friends and family. We are here for you. You did an amazing thing of being able to stay away before and you will be able to do it again.

I know how hard it can be. I had surgery a couple of years ago and the pain was so great that is how I got hooked on vics. I kept trying to get off but would alway fall back into its clutches. I have been off for 6 months now and I know how hard it can be for you. My prayers are with you.

I know exactly how you are feeling right now!!!!!! I am in the same boat with Ultram! It's funny, I use to work in an ER and the doctors would always give drug seekers Ultram because they didn't want it, it was too week! I never in a million years thought it was something that a person could get hooked on! If you need someone, I'm here day or night!!! I have absolutely NO ONE to talk to about this and I'm still taking the meds because I haven't figured out how to ween myself off.
Anyways, I just wanted you to know that I understand and I'm hear to listen!
