I to was on vicodin after a bad car accident i was in. Those pills were the start of my addiction run. After my script ran out my doctor would not perscribe more but i liked the high so muhc i started buying from people i know.I went from vicodin to percocet to oxycontin in about a 5 month period. Taking and snorting multiple pills a day. i was addicted to oxycontin 80mg about 3 pills a day for about 4 months. The drug was taking over my life. I was stealing money from friends and family. The drug really took over my mind. I stopped December 23 2008, COLD TURKEY, wow was it an experience. I was extremely afraid of withdrawals but i just told myself id tough it out. For almost a week i was bed ridden, throwing up, having cold sweats and body convulsions, it truly was a terrible experience. I missed christmas with my family because of the damn drug which upsets me every day. I'm not even a month out but i've been clean and it hasent been for a long time that my mind has been this clear. The advice i would give is to get off of it and search for natural ways to help with your pain. Remember any pills put in the body is a toxin that doesn't belong inside you even though it helps. Natural remedy's will pay off in the long run
