im a guy

and im very confused. My girlfriend and i split up about 6 weeks ago, or rather she split up with me. She has a neating disorder, and this is the reason the break up occured. At first when we broke up she didnt tell me this was the reason and basically told me what was a load of nonsense, but she later admitted to me on the phone when she was drunk what the real reason was(the eating disorder). It has been affecting the way she acts and behaves quite a lot the last few months. In the days before we broke up, she text me saying how much she loved me several times, so obviously i was very shocked and confused. She has been texting me quite a lot recently, and she phoned me late last frisday night but i missed her call. I know this isnt a dating forum, and is far more important than that, as this is a serious issue. I know a little bit about it as my sister suffers with anoerxia.
I just wondered if anyone on here had been involved in a similar issue and if they could help me decipher her behaviour,
Thanks for your help
