stoner

23 year old male, never really cared where i was taking my life and what i was doing to myself by never being sober since about the age of 14. It is time to stop being selfish now that I have an 18 month old daughter. Doing the minimum in life is not enough. I am scared because every other time I tried to quit, I couldn't sleep or eat for a few days. I know I have to be strong but its hard. please help.

The first thing you need to

The first thing you need to do is:

-if you have a phone, delete ALL your contacts for drugs
-if you have a phone book, do the same thing

Without the connection, you can't buy!

The second thing to do is:

-get rid of your paraphernalia
-sell it, give it to a friend, smash it, just get rid of it

Without bongs, pipes, papers, vapes, etc, there is less of a temptation to smoke.

I hope this helped! Good luck with things!

I agree with the last advice.

I agree with the last advice. Also, you need to want to change for yourself. You will not stick with anything if you feel it's because of someone else. Don't use your kids as an excuse.

Why do you want to quit? Because of the amazing moments you know you will miss with your daughter if your stoned? Focus on how much your gaining.

Two things drive people's actions. Pain and Pleasure. I think you have felt the pain, now focus on the pleasure how much your gaining. You focus on what your "giving up" then you'll still think its something great and slip back. You got this!
