Wife smoking soon after birth

So my wife and I just had our first baby. She did smoke during preganancy...of course but 6 months after she started smoking again. She is still breast feeding. I just started to see this happen and it makes me nervous. She doesn't do it around the baby but should I be worried about the nicotine and the breast milk?

As a mother myself I know that I have read any substances you take can be passed on the milk. I do not know to what extent. Have you spoken to a doctor yet?

I agree. I think the best thing is to get some advice from a doctor. The last thing you want to do is jeopordize your new child.
