I decided to leave him

well, its been 3 years of an up and down relationship with an alcoholic and an abusive boyfriend. After trying for the past year to get him to get help I just can't do it anymore. I know I should be stronger but I need to go into this new year differently than last year.

I realize this is a decision that is not easy for anyone. We try to stick by the ones we love but sometimes our love is not enough to help them along their way. I am sorry to hear about your story.
