Trouble with my body image

So my safe haven was always my relationship with my boyfriend. After 2 years that ended this past weekend. It was always a place where I felt good about myself and who I am.

Now...what do I have? I don't want to go back out to a place where I will be rejected over and over again.

Hi, I am new here...I am 33 years old. I have a 2 yo daughter and do not want her to grow up with my issues about body image. I have always been a "big" girl, but after having my daughter, I have not been able to loose the pregnancy weight...Celebrities in the news, well, they do not help matters at all...it's like they instantly loose the weight or something...but I have come to learn that us normal people cannot compare ourselves to them!...but my perception of myself has gotton worse since having my child...I HATE the way I look...I am married, and don't really care what my husband thinks about my body, but I know he would like to see me loose a few lbs. at least...it's just that we live in a cold climate and I am stuck inside the house a lot and eat out of bordem and being lonely...I exercise when I can, but I fear I will be 165 lbs. for the rest of my life and may become bigger if I don't control the eating...Love to hear from others in similar situations or just to hear from others out there in general!----thanks!---Melissa
