Inpatient Treatment - Advice / Stories Please

Hi Everyone
I'm new here...34 struggling with binge eating disorder (and previously bulimia) for 20 yrs now...sick of it and needing/wanting recovery.

I'm considering going to inpatient care at a treatment facility. Has anyone done this? Did it work...i.e., was it worth it? Was it a long term solution for you or just temporary relief?

I have to decide shortly due to work concerns so timely reply is much appreciated!

I did a 4 week in patient after doing one on one counseling for a year with no luck. Right after my inpatient I started going to group counseling. I have found this to be much better as I encounter others who have struggled with ED. So far so good. I think what worked for me was the mix of the two. I hope the best for you.
