I have been battling with ED for the past 2 years now. I have fought with anorexia and bulimia. I am not sure what to do. I don;t want to take diet pills anymore. Not sure if people are reading this section but just thought I would throw it out there,

Thanks for opening up and sharing. It is such an important part to takingthe next step.
I realize you are dealing with tough times and that is ok. Have you tried going to counseling? I can't stress how much of a difference that can make.
I know it is easier said than done but please try to stay away from the diet pills.
Please let me know if you need any help finding someone to talk to in your area. |

| Thank you so much. I used to be fine until about 2 years ago when I got out of a very abusive relationshiop and everything just went dark at that point. I have been ashamed to talk about this kind of stuff but I think you are right. It is time I talke the next step and get help with this. I will definitely set up a therapy appointment. I have been reading about treatment centers as well. Maybe I should check into one as well so I can start fresh. |

I want you to know that you have taken such a difficult step in realizing that it is time for help.
There is a wonderful support group out there called Overeaters Anonymous.

You can find all sorts of great info as well as how and where to go to support meetings. Please be in touch and let us know how you progress |

Thanks for sharing your story and joining us here. Although I do not have any experience with ED I know that the path to recovery is difficult. I believe that the strength of meetings will help and it has helped so many others. Keep strong and please let us know how you are doing.  |

| Thanks everyone. I went to a treatment center and I am doing better for now. I am also going to OA and it really helps to know that others are going throught the same thing. |
