Wow, video game addiction really hits home with me. I’ve been obsessed with video games ever since I was little and I know that it is very easy to get addicted to them…especially the role playing games. I guess you could say it’s a way of relieving all that stress and tension that’s built up because of work or maybe unbearable college classes. You have the chance to be somebody else, do whatever you want, and make plenty of friends. But make no mistake about, I’ve learned that it’s just not a normal solution to problems. You can get so wrapped up in an artificial world that you forget that you’re not in the “real world”. I had to take a step back and just look at things in a realistic perspective. Video games aren’t going to get you passing grades and they sure aren’t going to get you through you’re entire life. Just remember a video game is nothing more than a “video game”. Get in touch with the “real world” again.
