Did Steroids Cause Tiger Woods‘ Alleged Sex Addiction?

Submitted by Angieboss on Thu 12/17/2009 - 06:05

How can you not love a blog title like that? That theory may be a stretch, but you have to admit it’s catchy. Although but it does turn out one of the legendary golfer’s doctors is being investigated by the FBI for providing performance-enhancing drugs to athletes under his care.

Puh-lease.

Dan Clark, former star of American Gladiator said he loved the power that steroids gave him, but the steroids subjected him to a "dull throbbing pain" every time he had sex. Plus man boobs, which, he said, never did get back to normal even after stopping the ‘roids. He described them as all shriveled up now. Lovely.

I may need to look more carefully, but I didn’t see Tiger sporting any of those “man-boobs” so common in athletes who take steroids.

Even so, does a description/label of someone as having a sex addiction give them a free pass to do whatever they want – damn the consequences? It doesn’t work in court. Far too many rapists, pedophiles and other sex offenders have tried to play the addiction card. I’m not saying addictions aren’t real (hell no), but do they excuse us from immoral behavior?
