Habitual Tranquilizer Use can Mask the Real Issues of Anxiety

The pharmaceutical industry is one of the most prosperous business in the world. This spurt is fueled by a flourishing trade in hard drugs and even presciption drugs. Rampant adverstising has a great influence on doctors and patients.

Among the many prescription drugs which have been issued prescriptions by Doctors are tranquilizers such as Valium and sleeping pills. These tranquilizers are known to have the highest repeat prescriptions and abuse. Unknown to patients, prolonged period of use of tranquilizers can interfere and slow down rather than helping treat the root of the problem and eventually the real issues of anxieties. Regular intake of tranquilizers for a prolonged period of time has produced psychologically-dependent persons who have unknowingly become drug addicts. Their sleeping and waking hours are ruled by tranquilizers.

my daughter (25) has used meth over the last 8 years and wants to enroll in a 30 day treatment program. She is asking for financial help for rent , elec and the staples. Is this something that I should give, loan or not participate?

i've been recovering from my addiction to meth for almost 3 months and i was wondering why i would have severe cravings that feel almost like withdraws after such a period of time?

Where to start? My 26 year old son has been useing drugs and alchol since he was 16 years old. He lives with my Parents who continually enable him. I have tried tough love with him and Im sure there have been times I have enabled him too. .
