Corey Haim Death Might be Linked to Prescription Drug Addiction

Corey Haim's death is linked to an "illegal and massive prescription-drug ring," California Attorney General Jerry Brown said Friday. Brown's office is investigating "an unauthorized prescription under the former child star's name that was found during an ongoing investigation of fraudulent prescription-drug pads ordered from a vendor in San Diego."
Corey Haim made no secret of his past battles with drug addiction and his multiple stays in rehabilitation centers over the years. Now that the ’80s star has died of an apparent drug overdose at the age of 38.
Haim had submitted to various treatment programs time after time, but none ever instilled in him a true desire to get clean. "It didn’t work at the beginning because I was doing it for everyone else," he said. "’Mom, I love you, I’m going to get clean for you. Dad, I love you, man, gonna get clean for you, gonna go in here for you. I’ll do it for you, I’ll do it for you.’ Everyone but me."
Haim had a prescription for the muscle relaxer Soma and the narcotic pain reliever Norco filled at a pharmacy on February 26, a source with knowledge of the transaction said. Two days after Haim personally picked up the drugs, his primary-care doctor called the San Fernando Valley pharmacy to ask about the prescriptions, the source said.
So far, authorities have uncovered up to 5,000 fraudulent prescriptions linked to the fraud ring in Southern California.

When we say drug

When we say drug addiction,it's a long process of recovery and how one will avoid it.Many things have been associated to drug addiction and if not prevented immediately, would lead to worst case scenario ever.Of course if you are already a drug addict, more likely you are no longer doing what a normal person is supposed to do.That's why those people high to drugs are doing things that are truly not good.I remember those who take naked pictures and even video themselves while doing sexual intercourse.Do you think it's a nice thing to do?I do not know if it's beneficial news for John Edwards or not how the Pittsboro Courthouse fire didn't damage the sex tapes with him and Rielle Hunter – and I also wonder how long before they're released, and he and Hunter make more than (a baby) and a few payday advances worth off of the sales. (You know it will happen eventually.) The Chatham County Courthouse was harmed (Chatham is the County, Pittsboro is the town) but apparently not the dirty movies in focus – I hope Elizabeth kicks him directly to the poorhouse.
