Aerosmith Steven Tyler Cancel Drug Addiction Benefit Appearance

Aerosmith performer Steven Tyler had to cancel his appearance for a Concord, New Hampshire this month. The reason, as I reported in an earlier blog, Tyler’s doing time in drug rehab (completely voluntarily, of course).

In what is apparently a stroke of irony, the benefit that was cancelled? An event put together to "raised money to fight substance abuse among young people."
For those eagerly awaiting his “multimedia solo presentation" on January 23 at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, do not fear. Show organizers are hoping the show will be rescheduled once Tyler has kicked his prescription pill habit and is back on the road to recovery.

Kat Strange, communications director for Child and Family Services, a key sponsor of the show told the Concord Monitor, "Our agency and the people working with the artist's management all agree that we want to reschedule this date. Given the serious health concerns Mr. Tyler is facing, you just can't pick a day, but that's Plan A."
Steve Tyler, who recently left Aerosmith, rejoined Aerosmith and got fired by Aerosmith – needs to make some tough decisions about his future.
