The “Losing Weight” Addiction: Part 1

There are quite a number of things that people can become addicted to and losing weight is no different. A person can become so obsessed with losing that they feel their life is not worth living if they cannot lose the necessary weight. This usually means that the person feels they need to be extremely skinny. Usually this forms from society proclaiming that this is the right weight for a person to be. The addiction can be something that is completely mild or it can go to so much of an extreme that it can become fatal. The levels of the “losing weight” addiction can be, not only physically traumatic, but they can be mentally traumatic as well. You may be able to notice the signs that are physical, but when it comes to trying to figure out the signs of a mental damage, it may be a bit harder to discover these problems.
