Having a plan to stop your addictions is the best way to go when you have decided to actually stop your particular addiction. You may even need to sit down with your doctor, counselor, or even a friend, to plan your steps to recovering from your addiction. When you are planning your goals for quitting your addition, you need to make sure that you do not make your goals too farfetched. Be sure to make the goals something that are realistic to reach and something that you actually want to reach. You may even need to make motivational points in plan. These motivational points can be something that you do to give yourself the boost you need to keep going. You can even consider the motivational points as rewards you give yourself for completely goals in your plan or rewards to work towards. If you need or want to, try involving friends and family in your goals as well.
