Christmas Helplines Close at Hand

Could Christmas be any more stressful?
Take some extraordinary expenses, add in some annoying relatives, excruciating family get-togethers where alcohol is often served, and a sprinkle of emotions like anxiety, inadequacy and bitterness and you’ve got yourself a relapse waiting to happen.

Fortunately, many support groups are offering additional help for the holidays. If your particular group is not available, you may find it helpful to connect with another 12 step group.

Otherwise, it’s not too late to plan to talk to your sponsor or other person who can help you stay accountable.
