Cocaine is the second most popular recreational drug used in America. Its popularity among the rich and the celebrities has been widely reported and as a result influencing more ordinary people to use it especially among the youth.

Cocaine addiction is inevitable for people who are at first just trying to take a taste of this drug. This drug which is long known as social stimulant will give one a surge of energy, alertness and confidence but as side effect ones that high feeling wears off it will make you crave for more since it exhausts the neurotransmitter dopamine in your brain, the one responsible for making one feel good thus leading to addiction.

In spite of the prohibition, many still gets access to cocaine and thus exposing them as well to the threat of addiction and other hosts of health problems.

Cocaine addiction is a serious disorder that has already leaded to psychological damage and even death. That first use must be avoided but once it's there one must realize that help is needed to be able to overcome the addiction.
