Side effects of taking caffeine pills

Most people struggling with weight loss tend to look for easy ways to lose weight. It’s hardly surprising then that the so called “quick weight loss solutions” like fad diets and pills are getting popular. Caffeine pills are supposedly one such “quick solution”. Some believe that they induce weight loss and others take them to improve their performance in the gym, however, the fact that their users either don’t understand or simply ignore is that these pills are capable of doing more harm than good. The following is a list of some caffeine pill side effects-

• Caffeine pills when taken over a long period of time can turn addictive, thereby causing withdrawal symptoms when one stops consuming them.
• Regular high doses of caffeine can also cause sleeping disorders.
• Overdosing on these pills (i.e. consuming 300 mg or more) can cause side effects like nervousness, muscle tremors etc and in more serious cases can lead to panic attacks, hallucinations and/or depression and in extreme circumstances it may even be fatal!

The important thing to remember is that there are no easy short cuts to weight loss and any pill that promises an easy weight loss solution without diet control and exercise will in all likelihood come packed with a lot of harmful side effects.
